I am a war veteran. You trusted me to defend you. Yet you can’t trust my judgement on pain medications not trying to get high I am trying not to pull the tigger to end my life. The blood in your hand not only will my money go to fund the black market but I risk my life because I don’t want to cry at night. What options do I have get back on pain medications. I served my country I have a right to treat pain the way I need to. I ask you respect that otherwise blood will be on your hand regulate

opposed the ban and this will only set back what you're trying to do. The ban is going to cause a spike in overdoses as people will be made into criminals overnight that are not Street savvy. Kratom does not need to be a schedule 1 it's as safe as coffee and definitely safer than beer. disabled who depend on this because you guys are saving us to death and now get proper treatment from our doctors. This works as an anti-inflammatory analgesic it doesn't feel like an opiate or anything in kind

I strongly oppose the ban on the sale of natural leaf kratom in Toledo. Given its safety profile and the ongoing regulation at the state level, there is no need for the city to pass legislation on this matter. Kratom has therapeutic potential and an extremely low risk profile. Passing city level legislation while the state works on its own decision could also be seen as more government overreach, especially when the city could be focusing on other local issues.
