Others are missing, buried under rubble. Half the buildings in Gaza have been damaged or destroyed. Families are grieving, homeless, and starving. This is unacceptable! Where is our humanity? Leaders in Israel's government say they have no intention of stopping or allowing a free Palestine. So where does it end? SPEAK UP!

Some children are reportedly having heart attacks due to living in constant fear. Toledo has an opportunity to speak up for the lives of some of the world's poorest children. Regardless of the reasons for the current violence, we must be able to agree that too much suffering has taken place. Akron, Dayton, Ypsilanti, Ann Arbor, Detroit, and dozens of other cities have passed similar resolutions. We must do what we can to advocate for peace and value every life.
