Hollingworth School has strong support from a diverse group of stakeholders and was well-represented at the July 12 meeting of the Zoning & Planning Committee, with a board member and 2 parents among those who spoke in favor of the project. Twenty families living within 4 miles of the school have expressed support for the project. The only opposition has come from one extended family, none of whom attended the school's community meetings or engaged with school in any way. Peace.
As a Neighbor and Resident of District3 please vote no for the approval of this special use permit. Recognize the “support for” the special use permit at the last meeting was teacher & staff reps who aren’t as equally affected by this because this isn’t their neighborhood. This isn’t their residential area where they come home. Mr. Franklin isn’t a resident of Toledo let alone Ohio. You represent the residents (we vote you in) &we look to you to do the right thing.
